WHAT IS GDPR?
The General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR, is a new EU personal data law that applies to all companies within the EU that deal with the use of personal data and companies outside of EU that use personal information of data subjects located in the EU. The GDPR will be enforced on May 25th, 2018.This law establishes data protection standards adequate to our time. Companies are obliged to protect data as soon as a person can be identified through it. This protects EU citizens from privacy and data breaches and gives them control over their personal data. Finally, it aligns data privacy laws in the European Union.
GDPR, SITECAMPAIGN & YOUR CLIENTS
At SiteCampaign we are proud to say that we are very detail-oriented and structured when dealing with sensitive or personal data.According to the new GDPR, as a European resident you have the right to request access to your personal data or rectification or erasure of your personal data, data portability, restriction or complete termination of processing of your personal data, and the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority. To request access to your data, or rectification, portability or erasure of your personal data, please send an email to GDPR@sitecampaign.com.We have a precise documentation on what personal data are stored, where, and why. Only the relevant employees are granted access to the respective data (privacy by design). After the termination of a campaign, SiteCampaign only has access to the data for up to 180 days and the data will be deleted hereafter.

The sections below outline why and how SiteCampaign (“we” or “us”) uses personal information, your rights regarding the personal data held about you, and how those data are secured. In this way, we want to grant you full transparency on how your personal data are used. For purposes of this Policy, personal information shall mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.SiteCampaign collects personal data in the form of email addresses and phone numbers in order to fulfill your request to get in touch with SiteCampaign. We will only use this information to reach out to you and provide the information you are requesting.This is the only purpose your data will be used for. Our legal basis for collecting your personal data is your consent that you give by entering your email address and agreeing to our Privacy Policy. SiteCampaign is both the controller and the processor of the personal data you provide us. Your personal data may be transferred to third parties such as our service provider for CRM.Please note that we strictly require our service providers to use your data solely to operate the services we ask them to perform. We also ask these business partners to always act in compliance with applicable privacy laws and to pay high attention to the confidentiality of your data.
No company can fully exclude any security risks, however, SiteCampaign uses up-to-date industry practices and takes appropriate physical, technological, and managerial measures to protect your personal information and prevent as much as possible any alteration, loss, or unauthorized access to your data. This way, your personal data are protected in the database by e.g. encryption and password protection, and access will only be grated to those employees that need access in order to complete their work.

Furthermore, you can object to processing of your personal data partly or completely, or delete it completely without any reason at any time. Your personal data will be stored only for the period of time necessary to achieve the aim pursued by the processing or until further notice from you.Your information is stored either in our databases or in the databases of our service providers.In some cases, and mainly for technical reasons, those databases may be stored on servers located outside of the country from which you originally entered the data (including outside of Denmark).In case you are applying for a job with SiteCampaign, your data will be retained for up to 1 year or until you give notice.
