TARGETING EXIT INTENT & SPECIFIC CART CONTENTS
Together with SteelSeries we wanted to increase the conversion rate among visitors with a high cart value during an upcoming product launch. In order to accomplish this goal, we created an Abandoned Basket SiteCampaign that was rolled out across multiple markets.
This campaign used exit intent and data about visitors’ cart contents to determine which relevant visitors were attempting to leave the website without completing their purchase. The campaign message highlighted a time-limited discount code in order to motivate visitors to take the finals steps to complete their purchase.
A split test where the SiteCampaign was only shown to half of the eligible visitors was used to measure the exact lift of the campaign, which revealed a 48% lift in conversion rate in the targeted segment.
